ABOUT ME

Shaped by the earth, colored by the horizon.
I am a second-generation artist shaped by desert light, expansive skies, and the quiet magic of handmade craft. Growing up in Alamogordo, New Mexico, the horizon became my first teacher. The sunsets that painted the mountains in impossible color still live in my work today—alive in my glazes, my palettes, and the way I translate emotion into form.

Working with clay is a grounding, intimate process for me. Each piece begins as earth in my hands and becomes a vessel for color, story, and connection. I throw intuitively, letting the rhythm of the wheel and the nature of the clay guide each curve. My surfaces reflect both the subtle textures of the desert and the luminous hues of the sky—sunrise pinks, deep purples of twilight, glowing oranges drifting across the horizon, and the earthy greens of new growth.

Color is not only visual for me; it is energetic and intentional. I describe my work as a meeting place between earth and light—a space where everyday objects become elevated through meaning. My pottery is made to be touched, used, and lived with. A favorite mug, a daily bowl, a dish for treasured things: each form invites ritual, slowing down, and reconnecting with beauty in the everyday.

My paintings carry the same spirit—expressive, vibrant, and shaped by movement and emotion. Together, my pottery and paintings create a world where color carries intention and art feels alive.

I create so that someone, somewhere, can begin their morning with a piece of the horizon. I create to share color, earth, and heart—shaped by where I come from, and offered to wherever you are.
